Welcome to My Blog

Today, December 11, 2022, on a rainy and windy Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles, CA, I’m launching my new blog, A Creative Creating. This blog will house all the happenings in the world of a working creative. From being at the intersection of entertainment, STEM, entrepreneurship, and everything in between, you’ll follow me and experience the good, bad, ugly, expensive, and fun. 

I recently celebrated my 16th anniversary of moving to LA from Memphis. And what a ride! From award shows to mansion parties, activism in the streets to wine tastings, friends becoming family to friends becoming enemies…you’ll read it all here. Advice and recommendations will be littered throughout. I’ll do my best not to be too biased and will acknowledge when I am.

I moved here as an extrovert with an invite to every party and award show. Now, I’m a happy plant dad who only prefers to leave the house when necessary. The mistakes I’ve made are now the guardrails that ‘mostly’ keep me from repeating them, but some were worth it, I have to admit. The thrill of the ride, right??

I will evaluate content, brands, products, films, TV shows, businesses, and public figures from my own, primarily non-biased perspective. Gossip isn’t my ministry. I’ll be sticking to what I know. Comment below on subjects you’d be interested in me discussing.
